Director, Public Affairs & Communications
Ron has developed and executed government relations strategies for clients in the private, broader public and not-for-profit sectors. His work in communications has focused on internal and external communications strategy, as well as media and stakeholder relations.
As a consultant to the Women’s Executive Network (WXN), he is responsible for all communications and marketing strategies. In 2009, Ron spearheaded a national initiative for clients KPMG and WXN to increase awareness of how an organization's commitment to diversity can create a competitive edge in today’s changing marketplace.
Ron holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick, with a focus on economics and public policy. In 2005, Ron attended the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome, Italy where he studied philosophy.
While attending UNB, Ron was elected Student Union Vice-President of External Affairs, and was one of two students elected to serve on the University Senate in 2003-2004. For his contribution to the University, UNB presented Ron with a Graduating Student Leadership Award and an internship in Beijing, China.
Ron is fluent in French and Italian. He continues to be active in the community. He has contributed his public policy expertise to candidates in provincial and federal election campaigns.
